A Level Examination Results 2016

Thursday 18 Aug 2016

Press Release Published: 14:00 BST

While headline figures may not present 2016’s overall results as one of our strongest A level years, they are largely in line with expectations and students should be congratulated on their achievements. Importantly, the vast majority have secured their university of choice (including Will Wright, who secured his place to read Medicine at Cambridge with an outstanding 4 A*s). There was a significant improvement between overall AS results last year and the eventual A level grades, and this is testimony to the hard work of students and staff alike.

As ever, a full statistical breakdown of results (for this and previous years) will be available on this website once results are complete.
