Weather Station

We have now installed a weather station on the roof of the main teaching block. A screen in the long corridor displays 'real-time' information about temperature, wind speed and direction, pressure and humidity. The weather station also feeds data on to our computer network for use in Geography and ICT lessons.

Friends at Brandeston Hall

The Friends at Brandeston Hall held their annual Quiz Night last Friday. About 60 plus parents and staff met in the dining room for a thoroughly enjoyable evening. With questions ranging from a Food and Drink round to a Music round with a celestial theme.

Spring Concert

The Spring Concert will take place on Tuesday 7th February in the Rowley Hall at 7pm. All the main music groups will take part so Girls, Boys and Junior Vocal Groups, Orchestra, Funky Monkeys, String Group, Ukulele group, as well as some smaller ensembles will perform. All participants know who they are and we have been rehearsing all term. In addition all of Year 3 are going to play a piece together on their violins. They have been learning how to do this in class music lessons and it will be delightful for the children to perform to an enthusiastic audience.
