Cross-Country
Brandeston Hall has an extraordinary tradition and record of success at cross-country running. This is helped by the fact that most of our pupils play a lot of sport and are therefore naturally fit and healthy.
Additionally many pupils choose to run on a Tuesday and Thursday lunchtime develop their fitness even further.
During the course of the autumn and spring terms, we attend half a dozen cross-country races throughout Suffolk. This culminates with the East Anglian Prep Schools Cross-Country in March. We were winners of this prestigious event in both 2011 and 2012
We have produced a number of superb runners in recent years including John Bird who was UK Under 15 Champion in 2005 and Susannah Reid, who was County Schools, County AAA and East of England Champion in 2009. This year 6 of pupils were selected to represent Suffolk in the Anglian Schools Championships.
