We believe that sport is an integral part of a child's development, and is a natural complement to the academic and cultural life at Brandeston Hall. Our sports programme is broad and balanced to meet the needs of individual pupils. We take great pride in our numerous sporting successes, but we thrive from the pride of seeing the commitment, enjoyment and enthusiasm of all of our pupils.
From an early age all pupils at Brandeston Hall are encouraged to understand the values of fair play, honesty, endeavour, determination and application through a wide variety of activities in which participation and the pursuit of excellence are the key. We also offer an Elite Athlete Development Programme to outstanding performers in Years 7 and 8.
We pride ourselves on our successes in team games and individual sports and encourage all pupils to represent the school. As a result of our successes we have earned an excellent reputation at county, regional and national level.
Our major sports are hockey, netball, rounders, athletics and tennis for the girls and rugby, hockey, cricket, athletics and tennis for the boys.
The PE and Games programme also includes cross-country, health related fitness, swimming, basketball, golf, gymnastics and football.
The grounds at Brandeston are spectacular. We have access to indoor and outdoor swimming pools, two floodlit artificial pitches, 8 floodlit tennis courts, a modern sports hall, recently improved cricket nets and athletics facilities, a 9 hole golf course and high quality playing fields on site and at our senior school close by at Framlingham.
