1st Brandeston Brownies

On Thursday 11th November the inaugural pack of 1st Brandeston Brownies were enrolled into the Guiding movement. Mrs Carol Bostock-Smith, Saxtead District Commissioner, came to the meeting to hear the girls take their Brownie Promise and presented them with their Promise badges. The pack then celebrated with delicious homemade chocolate krispies before making decorated tea light holders in readiness for our ‘Pampering Mums’ evening in a fortnight’s time. Brown Owl, Mrs Ros Wilson, ended the meeting with some fun games and closing thank yous.
Earlier in the day the Brownies had joined the school in the annual Remembrance service. Mr Myers Allen thanked the girls for their efforts and commented on how smart they looked in the new uniforms.
