Science Week at Brandeston Hall
Science week started with all pupils from Nursery through to year seven learning about birds of prey and meeting various raptors.

The highlight for many was 'Alaska' the bald eagle and having their photos taken with her. Jenny's Ark with her menagerie of snakes, lizards, guinea pigs and rabbits also proved to be a huge hit with the year 3 and below, as did the CSI day with years 6 and 7.

Years 1 to 7 have been on very sucessful trips to Minsmere, Jimmy's Farm, Kew Gardens, Colchester Zoo, Maple Farm and the Science and Natural History museums.
Pupils have also undertaken many class room based activities from making wiggly worms, bungee jumping an egg, playing carrot music, building bridges and other quite literally hair raising activities!
All of the pupils involved have had a fantastic week and are eagerly awaiting next years science week.
