County Singles Tennis Title for India

India Ball, a pupil at Brandeston Hall and a member of the Framlingham College Tennis Club, has been crowned Suffolk Under 8 Mini Tennis Champion 2009.
India travelled to Holbrook High School last weekend to compete at red level 1. She played with great flair and enthusiasm to win all her matches, including an authoritative performance in the final against her county colleague Harriet Petley from Woodbridge.
Fellow school and club members Kit McCausland and Lottie Summers also performed well. Kit finished 2nd in the boy's competition and Lottie came a respectable 3rd to make it a very special day for the Club.
Coach Trevor Wright was delighted with their efforts and said "All their commitment and hard work over the winter has clearly paid off, and I am very proud of their achievements".
