Boarding Houses
The boarders live in two houses which are attached to the House Parents' and resident staff accomodation. Austin House, for boys comprises of the upper floors of the main school, Alice House for girls, is a separate building in the school grounds. The Houses have cosy bedrooms for particular age groups and are made to feel very homely.
The boarders may use their bedrooms for quiet relaxation during their free time and they are encouraged to personalise as they would do at home. Both houses have lounges where the children may socialise in larger groups, with the provision of televisions, games and computer access. Further opportunities are available for both boys and girls to mix socially. The houses have both undergone recent refurbishment to provide modern, inviting accommodation.
