Friends of Brandeston Hall
At Brandeston Hall we like all new parents and pupils to simply think of the current parents and pupils as friends they have not yet met.
Many of our new parents and children are often new to the area and we feel it is important that they settle in well and the prep school is an important focus point and an opportunity for people to meet. Parents, grandparents, staff and parents past sit on a committee that call themselves the ‘Friends of Brandeston Hall’ and whose collective aim is to make member of our community feel welcome.
The current Chairwoman is Mrs Sally Baker who, together with a committee of like-minded volunteers, have exceeded all of the Headmaster’s expectations when it was launched in 2009. Many events have been organised and well-attended including coffee mornings, tennis and golf events and welcome evenings.
The group are running a second hand uniform shop and have arranged for Year group representatives to coordinate those all important social events.
