England Hockey Selections

Friday 24 Feb 2017

Year 11 pupils Lottie Summers and Rose Winter have both been selected in the England Hockey U16 National Age Group squad. Lottie and Rose, who are both part of the successful College 1st XI squad who are competing in the National Schools’ Finals next month, will now be involved in training camps and, if selected, matches against Holland, Ulster, Scotland, Germany and Belgium. They may also get the opportunity to represent their country at the Annual 6 Nations Tournament in July.

Head of Hockey, Jamie Kingstone, said, ‘I am extremely proud of both Rose and Lottie, they fully deserve their selection and can look forward to a very exciting period of their hockey careers. Their determination and work ethic is inspiring to all and I look forward to seeing them sing the national anthem in the near future.’
