Framlingham College at the Aldeburgh Festival

The College Big Band and Concert Band enjoyed a fantastic performing experience as part of Aldeburgh Festival this week.

Over 20 students entertained a large and supportive crowd from the beautiful Bandstand on the Beach in Aldeburgh. Every afternoon during this year’s Aldeburgh Festival, the bandstand is hosting a mix of festival performers, non-classical artists and local Suffolk musicians, adding an extra dimension to what is undoubtedly a world class music festival.

We played a wide range of music, ranging from Johann Strauss’ Radetsky March, all the way to ‘Let it go’ from Frozen! The students excelled themselves, and played with focus, commitment and a real sense of joy.

Thanks also to the many parents who came to support us – friendly faces are always welcome!
