Academic
Academic
One of the College's principal concerns is to enable each pupil to fulfil his or her academic potential. The curriculum encompasses the best of academic tradition, with its emphasis on depth and rigour, as well as other courses designed to prepare our pupils for the increasingly complex challenges of the modern world.

The extensive programme of extra-curricular activities and the arrangements for pastoral care give each individual pupil the opportunity to develop a range of talents and to grow in self-confidence.

Entry Into The College
Pupils in the final year (Year 8) of the Preparatory School (Brandeston Hall) sit the Common Entrance examinations which, together with recommendations from Brandeston staff, help determine the form and set placements on entry to the College. Coursework projects, and other work of the year, are taken into account too. Similarly students joining from other schools will be assessed on the basis of Common Entrance or our own entrance examinations.
Scholarships
Academic, Drama, Music, Art and Technology scholarships are also available at this stage.
