Boarding & Day Options
One of the many benefits of being part of a boarding school is the additional flexibility that can be offered to both boarding and day children and their parents. At Framlingham College and Brandeston Hall we do offer the standard day and boarding arrangements although parents may prefer to opt for a weekly boarding place or home boarding status. We do limit the number of weekly boarding places. Home boarders enjoy the benefits of being members of a boarding house where they may complete their homework and take part in the evening activities, but still live at home.
Some parents of day children may wish to take advantage of the “occasional stay” facility offered in the boarding houses. We are happy to welcome children into a boarding house (space permitting) for occasional nights or for an extended period to cover parental absence from home. Some parents may wish to consider a regular arrangement of their child staying overnight for one or two nights per week as a taster for full boarding, or simply as an opportunity for their son or daughter to benefit even more from the opportunities we offer.
Daily bus services from Aldeburgh, Diss, Martlesham, Southwold and Stowmarket are available for day pupils.
