Framlingham College Medical Centre
The College has its own well-equipped Medical Centre on campus located opposite the main entrance. The Medical Centre provides a focal point for all medical matters on campus.
There are rooms available to accommodate male and female patients and a consultation room/surgery which is used by the School Nurses and during visits by the School Doctors.
Medical cover is provided by three qualified nurses who are responsible to the school's Medical Officer. Both male and female nurses are available for consultation.
A rota system is worked which ensures care is available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week during term time. Out-of-hours a nurse is resident in the Medical Centre to provide overnight/emergency cover.
Pupils have access to both male and female doctors, who provide surgeries three times a week at the Medical Centre. Appointments can be made by contacting the nursing staff.
Boarding Pupils will automatically be registered with the local Doctors Surgery in Framlingham to ensure effective continuity of care.
Medical assistance can be obtained by contacting the Medical Centre on 01728 727224 (Internal 1224).
Out of Hours duty rota is sent to all Houses, Staff Common Room, Reception, and Senior Staff.
