GCSE Examination Results 2016

Press Release Published: 14:00 BST

We are very pleased to report on a strong set of GCSE results for Framlingham College.

In a year group with very mixed academic ability, it is particularly pleasing to note the number of A* and A grades (44.6%), with over 43% of candidates securing 5 or more A*s and As, and 20% gaining 5 or more A*s. Nearly three-quarters of all grades were B or above. This compares favourably with recent years and represents the excellent added value that we pride ourselves on, and it is so good to see the very hard work of students and staff alike being rewarded.

Of the 75 GCSE candidates, 73 secured the much vaunted threshold of 5 GCSE passes, and we are as proud of the achievements of those who find the examination season particularly challenging as we are of those who achieved the top grades.

As ever, a full statistical breakdown of results (for this and previous years) will be available on this website once results are complete.
