Schools’ Challenge quiz team through to County semi-final

Tuesday 21 Nov 2017

A big victory in the deciding tie against Royal Hospital School saw the Fram team home and dry.

By: Leo Goldsmith, Head of English

The first (A and B teams were of an equal standard!) Framlingham team of Rhys Pearson-Shaul, Amelia Schroeter, Brodie Blore and Elliot Fox were narrowly defeated by 20 points. But, in an exciting format which closely parallels University Challenge, Fram’s second team beat RHS B and then RHS A in the decider – with the final match being a comfortable 410-120 score.

Well done to Freddie Green, JJ Orimoloye, Niall Pearson-Shaul and Harry Williamson who now go on to face Thetford Grammar and Langley in a three-way semi-final.

Good luck to Sandy Walker (R96-05) as he competes for Scotland at the Commonwealth Games in the individual and pair… 2018-03-23 10:46:23
