Shooting Match v Gresham’s School

Wednesday 8 Feb 2017

On Sunday, the .22 Target Rifle Team of 12 students attended a shooting match at Gresham’s School.

This was a hard fought competition with Gresham’s winning by a tight margin of 12 points.  The overall top shot for the competition was Framlingham’s Friederike Fischer with a score of 194 out of 200. Bertie Southworth convincingly won the ‘Rapid Shoot’ with a score of 97 out of 100.  The ‘Snap Shoot’ was won by a pairing of Sam Ponty and one from Gresham’s, who managed to knock their targets down quicker than their opponents.

The most improved Shooter of the Competition was Coral Langridge, who only took up shooting last term. Well done Coral!
