Will Ponty’s rugby success in Portugal

During the Easter break, Framlingham College Head Boy, Will Ponty, represented Crawshays XV, a Welsh selection team in the Portugal youth rugby festival.

He played in every game and his team won the tournament beating Myerscough College 31-0 in the final. Will enjoyed coaching from New Zealand international Xavier Rush. Will has been since contacted by Rugby World who are featuring him in the next edition.

Framlingham College Director of Sport, Simon Sinclair said, “Another great achievement for Will who has benefited from not only an excellent rugby season at school but also he has been playing a big role in Sudbury 1st XV Men’s side in their quest for promotion to London Division 1. We are all really pleased with his continued progress.”
