U13 Girls through to last 32 of Team Tennis Schools Division 1 Tournament

Friday 22 Sep 2017

Fram College 6 – 0 Norwich High

Having qualified for the knock-out stages by winning the Girls’ Suffolk Schools U13 title last term, our team of Georgie Gardens, Emma Williamson, Tabby Walker and Marnie Salter travelled to East Anglia Tennis Club, Norwich to take on Norwich High.

Our girls played the perfect match in calm conditions at East Anglia Tennis Club, Norwich to progress to the next round. Despite close matches, the girls lost just 3 games in the 6 sets played. This shows how solid our girls were in defence, along with being patient, and picking the right ball to press harder when the opportunity arose.

Coach Trevor Wright was thrilled with their very focussed performance. The girls are now through to the last 32 nationally and are at home to The Perse in the next round.
